What Our Inspectors Check Before You Buy

A used vehicle should be mechanically sound, safe, honestly described and fit for the road. Inspectors assess the areas that matter before you commit.

Mechanical condition

Engine, transmission, braking and suspension checks for:

  • No oil or coolant leaks
  • Healthy brakes with at least 60% pad life left
  • Suspension free from dangerous corrosion or damage
  • No abnormal engine or transmission noise
  • Smooth clutch or automatic gear operation
  • Timing-belt replacement evidence when due

Documents and history

Important records supporting the vehicle’s identity and upkeep:

  • A genuine V5C logbook
