Why they booked
The customer had been looking for a Mercedes-AMG C43 and came across one that caught their eye. Everything looked good in the advert, but they wanted someone with experience to give it a proper check before spending that kind of money. They decided to book an independent Premium inspection to get a better idea of the car's overall condition and find out whether there was anything worth knowing about before buying it.

Wanted to make sure the Mercedes-AMG C43 was in good condition before going ahead with the purchase.

Inspection findings
Before carrying out a road test, under bonnet fluid levels were checked and found to be correct. At this point, the vehicle was started with no permanent warning lights displayed on the driver’s information panel, and the vehicle started readily from cold. When the engine was running, a noise like ticking could be heard as the engine got up to temperature; the noise quieted, but was still there.
The road test was carried out at speeds of up to 70 mph, in mixed road and traffic conditions.
During the road test, pay attention to the performance of the engine and transmission, and consider the engine and transmission performance in line with a similar vehicle, the same make and model the similar mileage.
Throughout the course of the road test, the vehicle handled and performed in a good manner, steered the chosen path of travel correctly, and was free from any abnormal noise or vibration.
During the road test, there was no evidence of any excessive smoke from the exhaust, undue audible noises from the transmission, or any evidence of overheating.
With final checks revealing no evidence of coolant leaks in and around the engine bay, or evidence of major oil leakage around the engine bay, and or on the underside of the vehicle.
Overall conclusion: the vehicle is in good/average condition for the age and mileage.
Vehicle aesthetic is good/average for the age.
Vehicle interior is in good/average condition. Full valet is recommended before collection.
A structurally sound vehicle with no evidence of major accident damage or significant corrosion.
Good service history.
The vehicle has age-related wear and tear on brakes and tyres.
Advised calling the previous service provider to see if the vehicle has any records.
