Why they booked
I was interested in buying this 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan Life TSI S-A, but before going ahead, I wanted an independent professional to check the car thoroughly under Premium. I was particularly concerned about the DSG automatic gearbox, engine and turbo, as I wanted to avoid any unexpected mechanical problems after buying it.
The dealer had also agreed to replace the rear brake pads and discs, along with both front tyres, so I wanted to make sure this work had actually been carried out properly. I also wanted the inspector to look for any signs of previous accident damage, poor repairs or uneven tyre wear.
Another important thing for me was checking that the heated seats, reversing camera and other advertised features were fitted and working as expected. I decided to book a standard inspection for extra peace of mind and to make sure I knew exactly what I was buying.

Inspection findings
Prior to carrying out a road test under bonnet fluid levels were checked and found to be correct, other than the coolant that was too full. at this point the vehicle was started with no permanent warning lights displayed on the driver’s information panel, with the vehicle started readily from cold.
The road test was carried out at speeds of up to 50 mph, in mixed road and traffic conditions.
During the road test the pay attention to the performance of the engine and transmission with the engine and transmission performance be considered in line with a similar vehicle the same make and model the similar mileage.
Throughout the course of the road test the vehicle handled and performed in a good manner, steered the chosen path of travel correctly and was free from any abnormal noise or vibration.
During the road test there was no evidence of any excessive smoke from the exhaust, undue
audible noises from the transmission and no evidence of overheating.
With final checks revealing no evidence of coolant leaks in and around the engine bay, or
evidence of major oil leakage around the engine bay and or on the underside of the vehicle.
Overall conclusion at the time of inspection; vehicle is in good/average condition for the age and mileage.
Vehicle aesthetic is in good/average for the age and mileage.
Vehicle interior is in average/poor for the age and mileage.
Full valet is recommended before collection.
A structurally sound vehicle with no evidence of major accident damage or significant corrosion.
No service history was given when asked for it.

There are no major reasons to reject this vehicle
