Disclaimer for Vehicle Inspection

• I am the registered owner of the vehicle to be subject to the Vehicle Inspection (“Vehicle”) or have been authorized by the registered vehicle owner in respect of this Vehicle Inspection.

• I consent to the Inspector carrying out the Vehicle Inspection.

• I accept that the Vehicle Inspection will be carried out by the Inspector, and that CarExamer shall have no liability whatsoever in respect of the Vehicle Inspection.

• I shall ensure that the Vehicle is in a safe and accessible location to allow the Inspector the carry out the Vehicle Inspection, and agree to move or permit the Inspector to move the Vehicle to a safe location to allow the Vehicle Inspection to be carried out.

• I agree to cooperate with the Inspector in respect of the Vehicle Inspection, including but not limited to giving the Inspector access to the Vehicle, keys, DVLA registration documents, MOT certificate (where available) and any log books and service documents reasonably requested by the Inspector.

• I agree that as part of the Vehicle Inspection, the Inspector may carry out a road test or test drive. I agree and confirm that CarExamer is not liable in respect of any damage caused to the Vehicle during the road test or test drive. I acknowledge that the Inspector has in place appropriate insurance cover in the event that the Inspector is responsible for any damage caused to the Vehicle during the road test or test drive.

• I agree and accept that the Inspector will not remove or tamper with any mechanical components of the Vehicle, including road wheels.

• I agree and accept that neither CarExamer nor the Inspector are liable in respect of any damage, defect or fault which is not apparent during the Vehicle Inspection but which arises during or after the Vehicle Inspection.
