The Kia Rio Was Cheap Enough to Make the Buyer Suspicious

The Kia Rio Was Cheap Enough to Make the Buyer Suspicious

Why they booked

The Kia caught Maria's attention because the price was lower than similar cars. At first, it looked like a good deal. The car had the right look, the advert sounded positive, and the seller said it was priced to sell.

But Maria knew that a cheap used Rio can quickly become expensive if there are hidden issues. A low price can sometimes point to poor maintenance, accident repair, worn parts, warning lights, or upcoming repair costs.

Instead of rushing because the price looked attractive, Maria booked a standard inspection first.

Inspection findings

Prior to carrying out a road test under bonnet fluid levels were checked and found to be correct, at this point the vehicle was started with no permanent warning lights displayed on the driver’s information panel, with the vehicle started readily from warm.

Road test not carried out vehicle is overheating.
Customer attended inspection all issues highlighted.

Vehicle overpriced compared to faults found at the time of inspection agains price of the vehicle.
